In the heart of Franschhoek
The holiday home is situated in the heart of the romantic wine village of Franschhoek. The area was founded by the Huguenots, who arrived from France, giving rise to the name Franschhoek which means 'French Corner’. The influence of the French winegrowers is why the valley has developed into one of the most important wine-growing regions in South Africa, producing world-class wines.

To this day the village exudes a certain nostalgia with its well-kept streets and front gardens as well as houses built in the traditional Cape Dutch style. The holiday home is just a few minutes' walk from the main road of Franschhoek. Here you will find numerous cafés, restaurants, art galleries and a variety of interesting small shops as well as the most important sights.
