The accommodation has air conditioning in all living rooms and bedrooms.

Arrival
​
​You will be welcomed onsite in person. Please advise us of your precise arrival details at least some days before arriving. Contact details will be provided in ample time prior to your arrival.

Barbecue
​​
The accommodation has a gas barbecue for outdoor use.
​​
Bed linen & towels
​​
Beds are made up with fresh linen and clean towels are provided as well as for the pool and the sauna.

Cancellation
​​
8 weeks or more before the arrival date, a booking can be cancelled with no penalty. Down payments made will be refunded. Between 4 and 8 weeks before the arrival date, 50% of the rental fee is payable on cancellation. If the booking is cancelled 4 weeks or less before arrival, the full rental fee is due.

Charges
​​
All rates include cleaning on departure, Internet (WLAN), bed linen, towels, electricity, water, air conditioning, and parking.

Check-in
​​
Check-in is between 15:00 and 20:00 on the day of arrival.
​​
Check-out
​​
Check out is before 10:00 on the day of departure. Depending on availability, a late check-out can be booked, at short notice, for a fee.​​

Cot & high chair
​​
A cot and high chair cannot be provided.
​​
End-of-stay cleaning
​​
The accommodation will be cleaned at the end of the stay. The cost of this is included in the accommodation price.
​​
Extra beds
​​
The accommodation can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests. Additional beds cannot be provided.​
​​
Fireplace
​​
The accommodation has a fireplace. Firewood will be provided.​
​​
Heating
​​
The air conditioning units of the accommodation can be used for heating in winter.
​​​
Interim cleaning
​​
Interim cleaning is available on request (additional fees apply). The accommodation is equipped with a vacuum cleaner and cleaning utensils.

Internet (WLAN)
​​
The accommodation has high-speed Internet (WLAN). Its use is included in the cost of the accommodation.
​​​​Laundry
​​
The accommodation has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The use of these is free of charge.
​
Minimum length of stay
​​
The minimum stay is usually 2 nights. You may arrive and depart on any day of the week.

Parking
​​
The accommodation has two secure, off-street parking bays accessed through an electric gate.
​​
Payment
​​
At the time of booking, 25% of the rental amount must be paid by bank transfer or PayPal. The balance of the rental must be paid no later than 8 weeks before arrival.​ If the period between booking and arrival is less than 8 weeks, the total price must be paid immediately.

Pets
​​
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. This will be checked on arrival.
​​
Pool
​​
The accommodation's plunge pool can be used all year round. The pool is not heated. Pool towels are provided.
​​
Power outage (load-shedding)
​​
South Africa can experience power outages (known locally as load-shedding). The accommodation is equipped with solar energy and a battery storage to be as self-sufficient as possible in the event of load shedding. The most important electricity-powered things such as lights, internet, fridge etc. continue to work. However, certain inconveniences are to be expected

Sauna
​​
The accommodation has its own sauna, the use of which is included in the accommodation price. Sauna towels are provided. Please bring your own fragrances for infusions.

Security
​​
The property is protected by a wall and a fence. Furthermore, the house is equipped with an alarm system. Franschhoek is generally considered a safe town by South African standards.
​​
Smoking
​​
Smoking is not permitted. This also applies to cannibis consumption. Any violation of this rule will incur a fine of € 250.
​​
Toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, soap
​​
As is usual with holiday homes, the accommodation is self-catering. However, to make your arrival easier, an initial supply of toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, and soap is provided. Additional supplies, as well as personal hygiene items, must be brought along or purchased on site.

Travel insurance
​​
To ensure that you are covered for any financial losses incurred in the event of cancellation, for example, due to illness, accident or unemployment, we recommend taking out travel insurance.
